Dr Flannery preformed an anterior total hip replacement on me on 5/5 and by 5/13 I was walking without a walker or cane. Mowed my lawn and took my dog for a 1/2 mile walk. The pain now is minimal as opposed to prior to surgery and it gets better everyday. The scar is maybe 4”. He has this procedure down and is at the top of his game. I am so happy with the recovery results this far. I highly recommend Dr Flannery. Based on my experience I should not have waited as long as I did to get the surgery done. Bar None

Who knew that immediately after a full anterior hip replacement, all of the arthritis pain would be gone and two weeks later I would be almost back to normal and feeling amazing.

Prior to meeting Fr Flannery, I was very apprehensive about surgery for way too long. I’d read about the Anterior approach and did research on doctors performing this technique. Dr Flannery stood out from all the others, so I made an appointment to see him. During this meeting, I’d found Dr Flannery to be very open and approachable. We had a collaborative discussion about my hip and what options would be right for me. He was very candid and informative about the Anterior total hip replacement. He took the necessary time to answer all my questions and concerns. It became very apparent that Dr Flannery was very knowledgeable and passionate about his patient’s health and well being. Following this initial meeting, I felt very confident moving forward with the surgery. I’ve been very impressed with OSMS support team, as well. After my recent 2 wk visit, I’m doing great with few restrictions, due to Dr Flannery and the Anterior approach. I’m excited and looking forward. Thanks

Love Dr Flannery! He has a great personality and did amazing on my surgery. There is a few things that could be worked on. Seems he’s super busy and I felt rushed and felt I had to ask questions that should have been told by him. Drs are busy and I get that but sometimes I think that makes patients forget questions, feel rushed and unimportant at times.
