Dr. Wade May, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana, joined the physician team at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2009. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1999. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2003.
Dr. May completed a residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2006 and completed a cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2009.
Dr. May is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular computed tomography, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology.
