He keeps a close eye on my health, because I had let him know that heart disease ran in my Dad's familu. So he watches me close and he also wants me to eat a better diet; which I will do but some of things he wants me to eat I can't either to not being able eat them even though I tried or because of the food allergies I have.So I always have good, quick care from everyone there.

Doc has a tendency to speak at you and over you. He could slow down a bit a be a much better listener. He rapidly spits out advice which would be helpful if he handed it to you on paper so you could remember it and maybe follow it. I understand that his time is valuable, but so is my health. I will be finding a new cardiologist after todays appointment. I have worked with and seen many doctors and never have I ever felt so disrespected and treated in such a condescending way as Dr. May did. He was not receptive at all to my preferences regarding medications and was very pushy towards a medication I felt uncomfortable with taking and proceeded to lecture me. I am very open to being taught and educated but he did so in a way that was very pretentious and acted as if I was uneducated and would over talk me repeatedly. He proceeded to even tell me I probably have artery blockage with no testing to back it up. I need a cardiologist that is open to hearing how I feel regarding medication that is going in MY body and not feel attacked for not agreeing. His bedside manner is absolutely inappropriate and uncalled for. He made me feel very uncomfortable.

TheTimes that I've seen Dr May I really liked him! I'd rather not describe the whole situation in my last two visits in detail. No doubt he'd figure out who left this message. I can only pray that I will never need him more than I have! Not because I don't think that he couldn't do good for me if I had a serious heart related, Etc situation that he'd have to deal with. My concerns because of my rare disorder that I have: oh it is nowProving that the autonomic nervous system can end up not functioning to its full potential. Which a recent surgery is proving just that scenario, it is somewhat playing a role of infliction of me not properly healing from that surgery on one side of my body. With that said my only wish is that he would "listen without dismissing my concerns!" Or anyone for that matter. My disorder is so rare that the only support group that I can find is online! The Drs needed, there is No 1locallyFor my situation! I need to feel safe withThose I see already.

Dr. May was very patient and understanding when my 93 year old mother asked him to speak slower and louder due to her hearing loss. My mother was especially impressed that he spoke directly to her and family member, not just family member accompanying her. Often times, doctors make this mistake with her, usually bc of age but she is keenly aware and understanding of situations.

Dr Wade May is an awesome cardiologist, reminds of Dr David Allie, the first ever CIS doctor I met in the 1980s. So personable, yet very professional and extremely knowledgeable. If I weren’t so small and fat, I would put him in my pocket and bring him home with me! He’s truly the best and yes I have been recommending him to family and friends.

Dr. May takes the time to explain test results. He also advises the best course of action based on the tests results. He is intelligent, knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. May didn't seem like himself. He is normally more friendly; maybe he was not having a good day. I wish he would have looked at my leg more to make sure there was nothing else going on beside gout/arthritis.
