I am now one year post-surgery and I'm happy to report that I am unaware that I have an artificial hip! My strength level is 100%; I have not experienced any problems with numbness, tingling or other post-surgical complications.
Dr. Harris- and his excellent team at EmergeOrtho have brought vitality back to my life, and I am forever indebted! If you need a hip replacement, there is only one physician in Asheville you should be calling- Dr. W. Taylor Harris at EmergeOrtho (Blue Ridge Region)!

His orthopedic residency was spent at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. As an orthopedic sports medicine doctor, he has completed two orthopedic fellowships: one in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL, and the other for hip arthroscopy/preservation at the American Hip Institute in Chicago, IL.
