My visit was at the Rock Hill location. There was no lengthy wait time. This was my first visit with Dr. Stroman. I was extremely impressed with his high expertise. Even more impressive were his personality and character. I’m squeamish when it comes to my eyes. Recent diagnoses left me feeling quite apprehensive. Dr. Stroman took the time to engage with me, in a compassionate and caring manner, which aided in calming my nerves. I was appreciative of his detailed explanation of medical conditions/treatments; and replies to my questions. He was very understanding. All-in-all, it was a Gold Star visit.

Furthermore, he is a longtime member of the Saunders Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which is a community of medical students, physicians and other leaders who have been selected by their peers for their compassionate care. He was also awarded Preliminary Internal Medicine Intern of the Year at the University of Florida and was recognized by the American Society of Retinal Specialists for his presentation of Late Onset Atypical Exudative in Retinopathy of Prematurity in 2022.
