Furthermore, he is a longtime member of the Saunders Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which is a community of medical students, physicians and other leaders who have been selected by their peers for their compassionate care. He was also awarded Preliminary Internal Medicine Intern of the Year at the University of Florida and was recognized by the American Society of Retinal Specialists for his presentation of Late Onset Atypical Exudative in Retinopathy of Prematurity in 2022.
