Dr. Richardson provided an excellent diagnosis and surgery to correct my torn bicep tendon. My husband amputated his finger and Dr. Richardson was able to expertly realign the bone and nailbed. His follow-up care was also fantastic. My son fractured 2 bones in his hand and was also extremely well cared for. My son has a bone disorder and has broken over 100 bones, so we know what a good orthopedist looks like and Dr. Richardson is it! The entire staff is friendly and capable.

Fixed my hand!!

Fast. Efficient. Surprised didn't go over my hand x-ray results ... even if everything looked normal. I asked the PA why we needed an x-ray for trigger finger when I had no other chronic conditions or symptoms which would warrant x-rays. The PA said it was standard SOP ... cha-ching rings the insurance register. If x-rays were for my (the patient) benefit, then why not go over the results with me (the patient,)? Dr came in, gave me the shot ... thanks for coming by ... next ... cha-ching.

The Richardson is a friendly doctor who listens and tries to find and present all possible solution to a patient's orthopedic problem. Although he really could not help me much with my progressing OA, he had some suggestions for medications that might help. Much appreciated.

Very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. But he had not looked at or read any of the notes sent by my Orthopedic doctor. Dismissed him by saying he wasn't a hand surgeon. I informed him that he had studied w/one but that yes, he was not a hand surgeon, so he had referred me to Dr Richardson. I found him a bit arrogant or full of himself. My Orthopedic doctor is very good & I don't understand why doctors wouldn't want to confer with each other.

Dr. Richardson appears to have excellent skills as an Orthopedic surgeon. He performed three surgeries, two on one of my hands, and one on the other. I now have full mobility in both of my hands without any residual pain. Dr. Richardson also conveyed a type of empathic awareness that many doctors should aspire to attain. In addition, all of the staff I encountered at Granite Orthopedics displayed a high level of professionalism and affability; this included the RNs, LPNs , a PT, and the front desk receptionists. Amazing doctor.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. He spent time wnough time with me to diagnose the issue and suggest different non surgical methods to help with my joint pain.

Dr. Richardson spent a good amount of time with me at my first visit. Made me feel comfortable with questions he asked and with the course of action he suggested - 'let's try an injection' instead of 'let's schedule you for surgery'. Speaking of injections, obviously they are never close to painless, especially into the top of your hand, but he made it as un-painful as it could be. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and nice... and the office staff is efficient and friendly. Great experience.

I heard so many good reports about Dr. Richardson before I met him. And I could see why. He is an excellent surgeon. He wants you to feel comfortable so he listens to you and answers questions without feeling rushed or hurried. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Answered all questions, took time with me so I didnt feel he was rushing . He could see I'm nervous about surgery, he assured me it's a simple surgery and shouldn'take long, would highly recomend.

Next time I need pain meds the pain was terrible . Still hurts today but not constantly. Practicing with left hand while it hurts.
