Dr. Aulakh received his Doctor of Medicine from Saba Medicine School of Medicine, Netherlands Antilles. He then completed his family medicine residency from University of Maryland Capital Region Health, Largo, MD and sports medicine fellowship from United Health Services in Vestal, New York. Prior to medical school, Dr. Aulakh worked as a scientist (synthetic organic chemist) with Merck-Frosst (Montreal) and Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research (San Francisco). He has published several academic papers and patents focusing on medicinal chemistry.
Dr. Aulakh is passionate about helping patients achieve their active goals as he believes that exercise is the best medicine, not only for physical health, but also mental health.
