The doctor is great BUT the nurses that place the drops in your eyes could be a little nicer. They push open your eye and are so rough. Every time I go it i s the same thing. It's just an awful experience. Also, I was in the office for approx. 2 hours and 15 minutes. It is so painful! Is the practice taking too many patients? I believe that is an unacceptable amount of time.

Was overbooked but you are told to expect to spend 1 1/2 to 2 hours. In my case was 2 1/2 hours. Very though technical staff and friendly. Doctor was through and explained what he found but seemed a bit unreceptive to my questions as he sought to update his comments and notes to his assistant. A bit off putting to start asking a question and be ignore until he finishes his dictation. I feel confident though in his responses even to my forced paused questions.

Dr Deraml was lovely, I was not pleased that I never received a call back to my message earlier nor when asked to call if my symptoms worsened and I did and I couldn’t get to the office on time due to traffic did the doctor get on the phone to see if I needed urgent help. I was basically dumped to fend for myself and ended in the ED at LIJ and told I could be seen in two days.

I was able to get an appointment first thing on a Monday with a call from my eye doctor the Friday before, for a consult about a hole in retina. I was evaluated, had two tears in retina repaired with a laser, and was done within 2 hours! I am grateful and appreciative this was taken care of so quickly!

Dr Deramo thas been treating my macular degeneration for two years during which time he surgically treated a macular hole. He is thorough in his examinations of my eyes and takes as much time as needed to respond to my questions. I am very pleased to have him as my retinologist.

A 2 hr wait to get injections is u reasonable and severely u comfortable for an 80-year old. There just be a way to expedite the necessary steps. Too many appts are being booked. Too many people in the waiting room.

Dr Deramo was upbeat, positive, and professional throughout the exam. He provided much insight into my procedure and recovery.

Dr. Deramo and his practice were very helpful with booking an appointment for me on the same day for an emergency eye consultation for potential retinal detachment or tear today, April 25, 2022. He was very thorough & detailed with the examination and luckily ruled out any retinal issues. He made sure to communicate with my primary ophthalmologist to pull today’s visit summary. Great bedside matter and I would definitely recommend him for your eye care.

Just far too long waiting for doctor to actually come into room but he was professional,friendly and explained clearly.

I found Dr. Deramo to be very helpful and i suffered practically no pain after my procedure. The first time i had the procedure a month ago i experienced severe pain for more than 2 days and was not able to go to work. That doctor did not provide any information as to why that happened i will see Dr. Deramo again in April for another procedure

Dr Deramo did a great job correcting & cleaning up a mess that was left after cataract surgery by another surgeon. He calm my concerns & gave me a feeling of full confidence in his ability & knowledge. Since my Vitrectomy my vision has steadily improved to 20/20, I couldn’t be more pleased & extremely satisfied with Dr Deramo in every way.
