Definitely one of the better gyn appointments I’ve had in my lifetime. Dr. Vidalia Butler-Poku is friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. She is great at explaining things so you can understand what’s going on. I’m really happy I found her.

Dr. Vidalia M. Butler-Poku, M.D., is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist with a career spanning over 17 years. She considers herself fortunate to have found her true calling in women's healthcare, and she finds deep fulfillment in addressing the diverse health needs of her patients.
Dr. Butler-Poku earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 1993. She then moved to Chicago to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cook County Hospital, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident during her final year of training.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Butler-Poku is a devoted wife and mother. She is blessed to walk through life with her husband, Yaw, and is the proud mom of two school-aged children, Phinehas and Hadassah.
