Dr. Butler-Poku earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 1993. She then moved to Chicago to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cook County Hospital, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident during her final year of training.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Butler-Poku is a devoted wife and mother. She is blessed to walk through life with her husband, Yaw, and is the proud mom of two school-aged children, Phinehas and Hadassah.
