I just changed cardiologists to be in a network that works with Endeavor Health so that my health care would be more coordinated. Dr. Marinescu is my new cardiologist, First,he is friendly & extremely comfortable to be with. He made me feel welcome & conveyed to me the impression that he was fully engaged in listening. I literally felt like he had all the time in the world. In today's medical environment that is rare.
He changed my medications to solve an ongoing edema & picked up on other significant issues w my medical history. He ordered at home blood pressure monitoring - reassuring, since I can’t get good readings on myself.
I felt like I was sitting down having a chat, becoming acquainted w a new friend. In an informal way, he easily related personal experiences that were related to history I was sharing. I strongly believe his style to be extremely effective for eliciting the type of patient info that can be very useful in diagnostics A treatment.

They do not get any better than Dr. Marinescu!!! He is an absolute savior!!! He is the kindest, caring and most compassionate Physician I have ever meet…He takes his time and makes sure your comfortable with the treatment plan and any questions you might have.

Dr. Victor Marinescu is a cardiologist at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Naperville.
Dr. Marinescu earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with high honors in German at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He earned a doctorate of philosophy, cellular and molecular pharmacology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois, where he also received his medical doctorate. He also holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and management from the same university.
Dr. Marinescu completed his internal medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he also completed his clinical cardiology fellowship. He completed an additional year of fellowship with a focus on advanced imaging in coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), 3D echo, transesophageal echocardiogram, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
