I cannot say enough wonderful things about my doctor. He is truly one of the best doctors I have ever had.What means the most to me is that he listens really listens. I am not a typical patient with simple or straightforward health concerns,&instead of rushing through an appointment or focusing on just one issue, he takes the time to look at my health as a whole. He asks questions, listens to my concerns, explains things, and makes me feel like what I am experiencing actually matters.
I never feel like I am just another appointment,a number, or a quota that needs to be moved through the office. I feel like I am being treated as a person. When you are dealing with complicated health problems,having a physician who is willing to slow down, listen, and genuinely try to understand everything you are going through is absolutely priceless.His compassion, patience, knowledge,and dedication to his patients are everything you hope to find in a doctor. A desire for medical knowledge and a love to learn led Dr. Mendez to complete an internship at Hialeah General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida before continuing his study with an Internal Medicine residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and commencing a health care career that has spanned more than 30 years.
Dr. Mendez is board-certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and practices at the White-Wilson Internal Medicine Clinic in Crestview. He relocated to the Emerald Coast in 2009 and has since become a well-loved and trusted health care provider among the citizens of Crestview.
