Great doctor, very personable, did carpal tunnel surgery and my hand feels great!

Dr. Spent time with me and explained options I have. I have carpal tunnel and I chose the injection first, I felt just a tiny sting and it was over. She is a very compassionate Dr. I would definitely highly recommended her.

A very nice lady. Takes her time with you n explains everything she does. Hardly any wait time which was fantastic.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the care I received during my recent appointment. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I felt a complete lack of humanity and empathy from the doctor, who at no point showed interest in understanding my situation or my condition.
Throughout the consultation, she remained closed off to listening and to offering possible solutions or treatment alternatives. Instead of guiding me, she simply told me to seek another opinion, which left me confused and frustrated, especially considering that I was referred to her specifically to receive help.
As a patient, one expects at least to be heard, understood, and guided, even if the case is complex. In my experience, I did not receive any of these things, and I left feeling that I was treated with indifference and even discrimination.
I hope this review helps improve care for future patients.

I broke both my wrists and they healed very well I would highly recommend Dr Pedro she is an excellent surgeon and a very caring doctor

Dr. Veronica Pedro is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, certified independent medical examiner, and certified workers’ compensation manager with expertise in orthopedic hand surgery.
Dr. Pedro has advanced training in upper extremity and microvascular surgery with a certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery. Her areas of expertise include hand and wrist fractures, upper extremity traumatic soft tissue injuries, and reconstruction of the arthritic hand and wrist.
After earning her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, she completed her general surgery internship and orthopedic residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Pedro also performed an orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama- Birmingham. She was honored with the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement citation, certificate of appreciation from Riverside General Hospital, and the Leon Hess Biology Scholarship.
In addition to practicing orthopedic surgery, Dr. Pedro serves on the board of trustees for Palms Wellington Surgical Center and was a member of the board of trustees for Palms West Hospital for six years. Dr. Pedro's research is published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Pedro is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Southern Orthopedic Association, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Neufeld Society, and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
