Dr. Vera Huffnagle is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Vera Huffnagle completed her undergraduate degree from Bunknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, with distinction as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She achieved her medical doctorate degree, graduating with honors, at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Class of 1989, where she was nominated as an Alpha Omega Alpha member. During her Neurology residency at Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Huffnagle served as Chief Resident of the program. Dr. Huffnagle is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She holds a certification by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Immediately following her residency program, Dr. Huffnagle accepted a position with Medical College of Georgia as Assistant Professor of Neurology. She served in this capacity for three years prior to accepting a position with Horizon Medical Group, subsequently known as Dickson Medical Associates, in 1996. She has served as a shareholder and member of Dickson Medical Associates’ Board of Directors since 2001.

Professional memberships for Dr. Vera Huffnagle include the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Academy of Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, and Tennessee Medical Association.
When Dr. Huffnagle is not busy in the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking. She appreciates spending quality time with her two sons.
