Patibanda is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. What he lacks is time. 2 people went in before me to see him, and another called in had the same time appointment as myself. E are stacked like dominoes.

It was my first consultation with him, and he was very kind; he immediately understood the condition in my arm. Thank you very much.

Dr. Patibanda is highly recommended for his exceptional care in treating back pain. He demonstrates a strong commitment to patient well-being through attentive listening and personalized treatment approaches. His compassionate demeanor and professional medical expertise are greatly valued. I highly recommend Dr. Patibanda. I trust him so much that he has my well-being in mind that I would allow him to perform a back surgery on me. I've had 2 major back surgeries in Los Angeles and swore that I would never have another one. As afraid as I am of another back surgery, I trust him if he says that I need another one. I believe in him

After earning his medical degree from the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine, Dr. Varun Patibanda, M.D. completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the prestigious Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation – the nation’s largest rehabilitation hospital and a model system for spinal cord injury.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Patibanda went on to complete his fellowship in sports medicine and interventional pain management at Pennsylvania’s OSS Hospital under the guidance of Michael Furman, MD. Dr. Furman is also the main editor of the “Atlas of Image-Guided Interventional Procedures.” At OSS, Dr. Patibanda deepened his knowledge and skills in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and electro diagnostics, as well as a myriad of advanced fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injection procedures for the treatment of nerves, joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. He spent his first two years out of training, working at a leading orthopedics and pain management practice in the greater Baltimore metro area.
Dr. Patibanda achieved board certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, and he is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. His approach to each patient’s pain is holistic, with the focus on reducing pain and improving function – all while applying evidence-based practices.
Dr. and Ms. Patibanda live in Monterey. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, playing tennis, and traveling.
