Dr. Rathore brings over a decade of experience spearheading healthcare initiatives and community-based projects. He has been instrumental in initiating faith-based Health Fairs in Queens, NY and is a strong proponent of inculcating a strong mental health, addiction component and trauma work into the primary care outreach(es).
For over a decade, Varinder was Medical Director at Safe Horizon’s Streetwork Project where he provided harm reduction model of health care to homeless youth with mental illness and chemical addictions. He was involved in Thrive NY’s Mental Health Roadmap to provide mental health services to minority communities and is a speaker for National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI) and presenter/member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP).

I’ve been Dr. Rathore’s patient for the last 8 or so years and he has always been so kind, understanding and empathetic.
What a wonderful Doctor! He listened to all of my concerns, asked questions to better inform himself and prescribed the appropriate medication. The entire office is kind and compassionate.

The Doctor and entire staff are what medical care should be like but sadly extremely rare these days. They went above and beyond to assure my insurance would cover my treatment. Honestly feels like you’re being treated by VERY knowledgeable friends! Highly recommend this practice.
