I’d like to share a rating for my new cardiologist. After my second visit with her, I feel genuinely encouraged. She listens attentively without interrupting, and she takes my concerns seriously. I explained that I wanted to stop talking atorvastatin because I felt it was contributing to my fatigue. She clarified why it had been prescribed, but she also respected my experience and offered an alternative statin at a lower dose, with follow-up testing planned to monitor the results. She explained everything clearly, welcomed my questions, and understood the reasons behind my request for a medication change. For the first time in a long while, I felt like my treatment is becoming a shared plan rather than a set of orders. It’s a reassuring beginning.
