While I’ve heard he is a very skilled doctor, I was extremely frustrated with his bedside manner. I brought my 2yo in for enlarged tonsils and he wasn’t gentle with my son. It felt like I was bringing a pet to the vet with how he stuck things in my son‘s ears and mouth without warning. He seemed frustrated when my son pulled away, and I was instructed to hold him down, even though my son was given no chance to cooperate on his own in the first place like previous doctors have done. Just very hurried and not personable at all. Dr. K also wasn’t listening to me. Asked me the exact same question that I just answered not seconds before. I don’t doubt that he’s a talented doctor, but my experience was not good and I felt like I couldn’t take his advice because it just seemed like he didn’t care about my son as an individual. My son needs surgery and he immediately said he was too busy and would find someone else to do the surgery (after he told me it was risky because of his age).
