Dr. Uzair Amjad, D.P.M., earned bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from The City College of New York, where he graduated cum laude. After graduating, he worked as a private STEM tutor in Long Island, New York, before setting his sights on medicine.
He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. While at Scholl College, Dr. Amjad received the Dr. Scholl Foundation Scholarship Award for his outstanding academic and personal achievements during his collegiate studies.
Dr. Amjad was accepted to the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency program and ultimately served as chief resident during his training.
