Dr. Usama Assaad, M.D. received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria, Dr. Assaad moved to the United States. He completed his residency at University of Illinois, and accepted fellowships in Sleep Medicine at Henry Ford Allegiance Detroit and Pulmonary Critical Care at Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc, MI. He is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He is a member of multiple professional societies - American College of Chest Physicians, American thoracic Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American College of Physicians. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
