Dr Yen is excellent. She made sure I understood what was happening and treatment options. She spent time with me and made me feel well cared for. She even came in on her vacation to see me in the office.

I was disappointed that I didn’t get my X-ray of my back that Dr. Parker had ordered for that day (4/7/26), after waiting so long for my follow up appointment after pulling my self into my physical therapy appointments which was during the harsh cold weather, and I had to endure being cold and shivering getting out of the pool to go get changed and committing myself to the sessions and completing them, I was looking forward to my X-ray to know everything was okay with my disc bulge so I could move forward with my life.
I was exercising in the gym on a consistent routine only to have to give that up temporarily for my physical therapy, because my physical therapist didn’t want me doing any other exercises than what she had scheduled for me.
So I’m not happy with the outcome of my appointment with Dr. Yen.
I feel that she talked me out of my long awaited and deserved follow up X-ray. .
There was some lack of communication between what Dr. Parker had told me and what Dr. Yen told me.

Dr Yen took the time to explain & answer any questions that I had. Called me at home to give me the results of my MRI & consult with me! Dr Yen’s compassion & bed side manner are exceptional & pair that with her amazing ability & talents as a spine surgeon & you have God just showing off a bit!
