Dr. Welch did my surgery last July. I was unsure if the pain I've been having was related to surgery or something else. Second time of hearing no results from an MRI. Had to get records myself and finally get an appt. after 2 weeks. No calls ever (even after leaving messages). Moreover, poor bedside manner. Was dismissive and clearly annoyed with any questions. Literally said “I’m busy” in the appt. Very disappointing.

Dr. Tyler Welch is a superior orthopedic surgeon and a physician who DOES take the time to listen to his patients and explain the details of what is to come with said surgery. Also willing address any and all questions related to surgery.

Dr Welch is too rushed and blasé. He doesn’t explain anything and tells you to hang in there. I had to keeping asking for clarification and explanation of what was going on. Very frustrating experience.

Being someone who is a frequent visitor to AOSM, a lot of things have become routine. This particular visit was more cookie cutter than most. The doctor didn't really tell me anything that I didn't already know, or recommended anything hasn't been recommended before. Same story, different day. Unfortunately, there's no option for just asking for a particular test or treatment. You have to jump through all the hoops first, which means more money out of your pocket. Quite unfair, financially speaking.

Dr. Welch performed total knee replacement for me Nov, 2016. All my follow up appointments were excellent as well as my recent visit to address concerns of weakness. I will start PT to address those issues. Dr. Welch is personal and respectful. I highly recommend him.

Unfortunately I waited a long time for appointment (about 45 min) and I felt rushed during the appointment (about 5 min, $50 copay). Perhaps it was a fluke of a crazy busy day. He did have a student doctor with him. I hope my surgery coming up entails everything needed to cure me. I do trust his expertise. His experience and education seem excellent.

I have never been to Atlantic Orthopedic s before today. Very efficient and friendly staff. I arrived early so I had time to fill out paperwork. I had to have x-rays before the consultation, had the consultation, checked out including additional scheduling and was out the door 12 minutes after my scheduled visit. Amazing.
