Very personable and knowledgeable… which is a great combination in a doctor!
I feel like he didn't listen to issues I've been having in the past with the swimmers ear symptoms with both ears. Because he didn't visibly see any problems at the time of the visit, he assumed that most of my problems were being caused by TMJ issues. But that wouldn't add up seeing as how my swimmers ear symptoms have been healed multiple times with antibiotic medications. The reason why I visited was to understand why the swimmers ear was reoccurring so often, and how I could prevent this. I currently have severe pain around my left ear, which he diagnosed as a TMJ issue, because he didn't know what to tell me. So, I used Google AI to address my symptoms and it helped me more than visiting with Dr. Tyler Janz. I have an early-stage outer ear infection (otitis externa), that Dr. Tyler Janz diagnosed as pain from TMJ. I told him that a certain antibiotic ear drop quit working, and he wrote me a Rx for the same drops. The whole encounter felt super rushed. Will not be visiting again.
