Raised in a small town in Kentucky, Dr. Hamilton always envisioned himself as a "country doctor" who would dedicate his life to improving the lives of those around him. Combining his desire to help others and pairing it with his interest in the science of the human body and how medicine can be used to repair illnesses and injuries shapes his approach to care. As a Family Medicine physician at White-Wilson Medical Center in Navarre, he is honored to get to help patients of all ages in a close-knit community much like the one that he grew up in.
Dr. Hamilton specializes in preventive medicine, the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses, and has a special interest in general psychiatric conditions and wound care. With the belief that the patient knows themselves better than anyone else, he prefers to utilize a “listening first” approach during his visits, allowing the patient to openly communicate about their health before he makes any judgments. Dr. Hamilton strives to treat his patients with the same level of compassion and care as he would with his family
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hamilton enjoys being outdoors, partaking in hobbies such as deer hunting, bass fishing, and shore or pier fishing. He also enjoys woodworking and reading up on a variety of topics, including theology, history, politics, and philosophy.
