Dr. Diehl earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Summa Health Systems-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Akron, OH, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Orthopedics and the University of Cincinnati. During his fellowship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Diehl participated in treating collegiate as well as professional athletes from the NFL, ATP, and AVP.
Dr. Diehl is currently the team physician for McKinney High School in McKinney, TX, Heritage High School in Frisco, TX as well as the Griffins Rugby Team in Allen, TX.
Dr. Diehl resides in Frisco with his wife and their two children. His hobbies include golfing, skiing, and spending quality time with his family.

Perfection! A patient for years, great staff friendly and knowledgeable well organized office. Dr. Diehl is always thorough to make sure surgery is medically necessary. If he sees you need a different type doctor he will refer you. A lot of people fear surgeons are too eager to cut, not Dr. Diehl. He is the best! Techniques are on point. Appreciative he is the reason I am able to continue my passion skiing!
The whole visit was quick, professional and the staff was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this location/Doctor to anyone.

Dr. Diehl did a terrific job treating my knee injury, insisting on conservative care before deciding whether any thing further must be done. His staff was welcoming and the whole experience was great!
I have been seeing him for probably 15 years or so. He has done surgeries and fixes of numerous orthopedic issues. Currently planning another surgery and treatment for a few issues. He is my go to anything orthopedic....
Dr. Diehl never changed with his opened conversation that made me and wife asked question regarding my health issue. He always approached his patient with smile, showed concern and being supportive.
