Dr. Diehl earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Summa Health Systems-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Akron, OH, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Orthopedics and the University of Cincinnati. During his fellowship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Diehl participated in treating collegiate as well as professional athletes from the NFL, ATP, and AVP.
Dr. Diehl is currently the team physician for McKinney High School in McKinney, TX, Heritage High School in Frisco, TX as well as the Griffins Rugby Team in Allen, TX.
Dr. Diehl resides in Frisco with his wife and their two children. His hobbies include golfing, skiing, and spending quality time with his family.

Excellent and personal
Dr. Diehl is my all time favorite doctor. He's open, engaging, informative and compassionate. He replaced my right knee in 2018 and I trust him to replace my right knee this spring. I feel so fortunate and grateful to have found him. He's the absolute best!!!
Dr. Diehl is top notch! His assistant Trisha is excellent! He took time to answer all of our questions and explained everything thoroughly. Excellent experience from an elderly lady who hates going to a medical office! Dr. Diehl was very impressive; he was caring, concerned, professional,and has reassuring communication skills.
He is the best. He gave me two new knees. I have no pain, no arthritis, and I am able to travel. Did I mention I am 80. I also dig and do yard work. He is so professional, and an excellent surgeon!

Dr. Diehl is great. He performed my shoulder surgery and ket me informed of the process the entire time. He has a great bedside manner. I recommend him highly.
