Dr. Diehl earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Summa Health Systems-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Akron, OH, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Orthopedics and the University of Cincinnati. During his fellowship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Diehl participated in treating collegiate as well as professional athletes from the NFL, ATP, and AVP.
Dr. Diehl is currently the team physician for McKinney High School in McKinney, TX, Heritage High School in Frisco, TX as well as the Griffins Rugby Team in Allen, TX.
Dr. Diehl resides in Frisco with his wife and their two children. His hobbies include golfing, skiing, and spending quality time with his family.

Fantastic surgeon for both total knee replacement, and replacing bicep tendon
Dr. Diehl is the best. Never pushes surgery and tries other options until surgery necessary. He did shoulder repair on my husband and he’s back to full recovery. He is professional and compassionate-thankful for his care! His staff is amazing as well, including Trisha and front desk always great.
