Dr. Trevor Gatenby, D.P.M., comes from California, where he completed a three-year surgical residency at Scripps Mercy Podiatric Residency Program, San Diego/Kaiser Sacramento Medical Center. Dr. Gatenby received extensive training in advanced surgical techniques involving the foot and ankle.
Dr. Gatenby completed his undergraduate education at Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California, with Honors. After which, Dr. Gatenby completed a 3 year surgical residency program at Scripps Mercy, San Diego, California with additional training at Kaiser Sacramento, California.
Dr. Gatenby has received extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle care, including trauma, external and internal fixation, complex reconstructive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, etc. His areas of clinical research are hallux rigidus/hallux limitus, sesamoid position in the setting of bunion deformities, and macrodactyly in infants and adolescents. Dr. Gatenby has lectured at national meetings regarding his research.
With his spouse Chelsey and dog Aspen, Dr. Gatenby is excited to be in the Northwest.
