Dr. Trevor Gaskill, M.D. is an orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon who completed his undergraduate studies at Kansas State University and earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. He went on to complete his residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, followed by a fellowship in hip, knee, and shoulder sports medicine at The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Gaskill is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and holds a Subspecialty Certification in Sports Medicine (CAQ).
He specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the hip, shoulder, and knee. His specific areas of expertise include hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and labral tears; shoulder reconstruction and replacement; cartilage restoration (including MACI); complex knee reconstruction; ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction, repair, and internal bracing; and managing throwing athlete injuries for baseball and overhead sports.
Dr. Gaskill is extremely intelligent and experienced while also being personable. He’s great at explaining the mechanisms of anatomy related to your specific injury. I highly recommend him for orthopedic consulting!
