He was excellent, the only downside was the waiting time. The person who set my son before the Dr. was extremely helpful and friendly.

Waiting an hour after dilation when the wait should be 30 minutes. I come here annually and I had the same experience last years. Long wait and an apology. I suppose it will be the same next year.

Dr. Thielke is amazing! My only reason for not giving him 5 stars is because I would have liked more discussion surrounding a bleeder that was found in both of my eyes. It made me quite scared. I left my appointment without a full understanding of exactly what that means; the stage of retinopathy, is this permanent, etc. Other than that, he is an amazing doctor and I feel very comfortable with his level of care.

Dr Thielke is very friendly and listens to all you have to say or ask. Explains everything so it's easy to understand and makes you feel calm while talking with you.

I haven’t received my new glasses yet, but they may be the first glasses I’ve had in YEARS that work! If they are, I’ll give him 5 stars! He is the first dr. who showed me what he was doing and why. He was confident and cheerful and did tests that no other eye doctor has EVER done! He listened to my eye probs and and told me what he could do to fix it. All the doctors I’ve seen in YEARS just nodded and said uh-huh! I’ll freak if these glasses work!!!

Had to wait way too long to see Dr. I know it gets busy but someone should be keeping waiting patient informed.

He was wonderful but we did have to wait longer than we anticipated. All the staff was very friendly.

Prescription written earlier in 2021 was terrible when made into a new pair of glasses. When I suggested there was an error in the prescription - I was told there was no error - my eyes had changed. Difficult to imagine when when my prior glasses still work well - I only ordered new glasses to use an expiring insurance policy. It would have been nice to hear that a mistake was made at St. Paul Eye in Roseville.

Taking the vision exam while wearing a mask and glasses was difficult. After a year's experience with Covid, I would think the staff would have perfected a way to offer a mask to patients that would not fog up the equipment.
