Dr. Walker’s background in sports medicine and adult reconstruction places him in a unique position to handle a broad spectrum of knee and hip related conditions. He has dedicated himself to the highest standards of patient care and built a reputation for excellence in hip and knee reconstruction, joint replacement and total joint revision. He always looks for biologic or joint preserving approaches first and only recommends joint replacement surgery if it’s clearly the best or only choice for his patient. Dr. Walker was in a solo orthopedic practice in Arkansas for many years before moving to Texas.
Dr. Walker is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has co-authored textbook chapters and scientific publications in the areas of partial and total joint replacement.
