My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Watanabe since she was three and had to have eye surgery, and has continued to see him throughout her whole childhood. Dr. Watanabe has always taken the time to make sure we understood her eye exam and results, as well as made it a point to have a normal conversation about how everything else is going. My daughter has anxiety issues and he has always handled this amazingly. Amazing Doctor with a good sense of humor.

He knows his stuff. He seems approachable. I would prefer a lot more explanations about what is going on and why especially about the subjective eye exams. But when I ask questions he seems to become irritated.. Perhaps he is in a rush or perhaps he doesn’t like detailed explanations. Either way, I’ve gotten used to just accepting what Dr. Watanabe says while I remain in the dark about how these vision tests work.

Dr Watanabe is a fantastic doctor. He doesn't sugar coat. He has the patience best interest in mind. The compassion I received from this man is far beyond what I had expected.

He was very friendly. We heard he is very good with kids, and he was. The only thing is, he did not spend as much time with my child as we thought he would. I suppose he is in high demand, and he is maxed-out on his patients.

He knows his stuff and is very experienced. He seems to be in a hurry and I feel my child's appointments are rushed. I'm always nervous to ask questions because he seems impatient with me. I trust his expertise and just cross my fingers that everything is going well even though I am left a bit in the dark.

Dr Watanabe has been seeing our kids for over 12 years. He's taken care of them through surgeries, glasses, wishing they wanted glasses (he called her bluff and "ordered" fashion glasses which were exactly what she needed!), and many other things. He's patient with them, answers questions, and knows what is best for them as they grow. We highly recommend him!

32 years of my life I was told my eyes couldn’t be helped and then I went to Dr. Watanabe through an unlikely circumstance. 2 months after my first appointment and 1 month after surgery, I can look directly at people now without my eyes falling out of alignment and I am essentially 70% better. Thank you, Dr. Watanabe. Whoever sees this and has eye issues, do yourself a favor and pay him a visit. He and his staff are just great.
