Dr. Schubkegel’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, arthroscopic shoulder surgery with advanced techniques of rotator cuff repair including tendon transfer and/or augmentation; standard and reverse shoulder replacements—including revision procedures; shoulder and elbow instability reconstruction; comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine care; treatment of upper extremity nerve conditions; total elbow replacement and arthroscopic elbow surgery; fracture care; nonoperative arthritis management and joint preservation; and occupational injury management.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Schubkegel enjoys exploring Wisconsin’s scenic trails on foot or bike. He’s a proud father and can often be found coaching or cheering on his two sons at their athletic events alongside his wife. A curious home chef, hands-on DIY enthusiast, and passionate music aficionado, Dr. Schubkegel also plays bass guitar and finds joy in creative pursuits that balance his clinical precision with personal expression.
