Dr. Todd Johnson is a native of Humboldt, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa in May 1986. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Johnson completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship in sports medicine, reconstructive procedures and joint replacement at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996.
Interests & Professional Experience:
His special interests are sports medicine, joint replacement and orthopedic trauma. He is a Diplomat to the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. Johnson is married and the father of two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, gardening and water sports.

Super super great he is so awesome. Taken great care with knee replacement in January 2026and ankle issues from arthritis from old age and plates and screw from broken ankles. Broke leg with rod that he did the surgery on in 2009.. wonderful recovery with his great bed sit matter and just a great dr -surgeon.
Best Doc in the world. He is so kind and patient and listens with care. Always fixes the problems. Chelsea is a doll. Very friendly and informative. They are always available if you have any questions. Great Christian atmosphere.
