He attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is fellowship-trained through Tauranga Hospital in New Zealand, specializing in hip and knee replacement, and the University of Utah Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, in sports medicine and arthroscopy.
"I have always enjoyed sports and I love helping athletes get back to playing sports. I hope to contribute to a life with less pain and greater function for all my patients. Nothing inspires me more than hearing I’ve made someone’s life better."
As a native of Southern Oregon, Dr. Clevenger enjoys virtually any outdoor activity but has a particular passion for whitewater kayaking and rafting, fly-fishing, and alpine skiing.

My appointment started on time. Dr. Clevenger was focused on what I had to say, and on solving my problem.

Prescribing postop rx’s day of surgery is no good when pharmacy won’t have pain med filled until 13 days after surgery (I had to call 3 hrs after surgery to beg them to fill by close that day) and Naproxen out of stock so had to buy otc 220mg instead of 250mg. Rx’s sent to 2 different pharmacies, not the 1 I requested. Just makes day of surgery stressful and more difficult for others caring for me. I understand why narcs can’t get picked up prior to surgery but it seems like there could be a better way.
