Toby F. Handler, MD, FACS

Toby Handler, M.D. obtained her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and her medical degree from Cornell Weill Medical College.

She completed her residency training in urology at NYU Medical Center where she completed two years of general surgery and four years of urology. During her residency, she also conducted research and published numerous articles in peer-review journals. Upon completing her residency, Dr. Handler joined Urocare Associates, which is now part of Integrated Medical Professionals.

Dr. Handler practices in all areas of urology but specializes in female urology and pelvic-floor reconstruction. She is Director of Female Urology in the Department of Urology at NYU – Winthrop University Hospital.

Dr. Handler has done more stress incontinent procedures than any other surgeon in Long Island. She is also an expert at in-office Botox© injections and sacral nerve stimulation for overactive and neurogenic bladders.

Toby Handler has been awarded the Castle Connelly Top Doctor award for the past three years. She is also fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian and Portuguese.
