Dr. Timothy Stapleton has his primary focus in sports medicine, shoulder reconstruction, and joint replacement. He is board-certified by American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds a sub-speciality certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Stapleton has served as the primary team physician for the Mercer University athletic program. He continues to proudly serve his Alma Mater in this capacity. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery for Mercer University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery for the Uniformed Services University of Health Services.
He has authored multiple papers on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, elbow arthroscopy, and rotator cuff repair.

I haven’t seen the Doctor in quite some while, only the NP. I am a nurse myself
I saw the other guy and Meghan they were great as usual and professional and did a fantastic job on my shoulder shot hit it in the right place this was the best one as I usually walk out feeling pain but this time they hit the right spot
I was not pleased with the PA at all, I told him of some over the counter medicine that was helpful to my pain but didn't do anything for my leg swelling and he said to me," well why are you here"
I actually saw Josh today and was very pleased. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. Enjoyed my visit with the exception of the cortisone shots.. lol
He’s the best knee surgeon in my opinion.

Best shoulder and knee Dr .
I saw Josh Mullins today for an injection in my shoulder. I did not see Dr. Stapleton. I have been considering shoulder replacement surgery and have many questions, so I began talking with Josh about surgery. He was clear in his explanations and actually got a model of the shoulder and showed me my situation while referring to the model and my recent x-ray.,He did an excellent job of addressing my questions and I can make a more informed decision based on what Josh explained.
