I hadn't met him before today, but I've always heard good things about him. His description of the process was thorough and reassuring, and I liked how he used his own knee scar in his explanation.

Dr. Timothy Stapleton has his primary focus in sports medicine, shoulder reconstruction, and joint replacement. He is board-certified by American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds a sub-speciality certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Stapleton has served as the primary team physician for the Mercer University athletic program. He continues to proudly serve his Alma Mater in this capacity. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery for Mercer University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery for the Uniformed Services University of Health Services.
He has authored multiple papers on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, elbow arthroscopy, and rotator cuff repair.
