With an open, happy face he greets you.He talks to and not at you. He explained the problem, gave his opinion on how to proceed. I appreciated that he told me I could call if any problems or questions arise. KIND SMART EFFICIENT

Dr.Petsche did a great job preparing me for my surgery. He walked me through with a video ahead of Tim and explained exactly what he would be doing. He also gave me lifestyle suggestions for a quicker recovery and prepared me for what to expect after surgery. The level of respect he showed me and time he took explaining things was amazing.

Amazing doctor but super cocky. Needs to work on his bed side manner. I understand he needs to take his time when doing surgery i would expect nothing less. But when he came to see me before the surgery he was kind of mad right out the gate telling me this isnt mcdonalds... yea i get that but a little communication goes

Everyone in the Surgery Center was very nice and helpful, also the staff working in his office are very nice and helpful as well. And Doctor Petsche is a great Doctor he helps explain everything and will work with you in any way

Fantastic Doctor! Explains everything well. Has done both my shoulders and I'm very happy with the outcomes. I would strongly recommend him for shoulder work related to torn labrum, rotator cuff and arthritis clean up.

We asked a couple of questions prior to the surgery and after the surgery. His responses were rude and insulting.

What a wonderful man.. my friend is special needs and can be a little exhausting but he has given her his total attention every visit. Treated her with compassion and respect. Would give more stars if I could!

Very good at explaining everything

Dr Petsche staff and himself were so caring. He explained in great detail what he found wrong in the MRI in my knee and explained options and what he thought was the best option for me.

Dr. Petsche has five qualities I would always look for when choosing a surgeon. He is intelligent, well spoken, a good communicator, confident & a good listener. Dr Petsche is an amazing surgeon! He is excellent in diagnostics and digging to finding the cause of my shoulder pain using exam and arthrogram. He explained the treatment plan well, which took away any anxiety I might have. I had rotator cuff repair surgery that, so far, has gone smoothly.

Friendly, thorough, but arrived to see me 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. That’s too long.

My meeting with Dr. Petsche was informative; way too brief. He was very good and very knowledgable. I was initially very impressed. His options for my left knee were with little discussion and little details. His discussion on the knee injections left in me confusion and afraid. I am looking for more info and confidence in knee injections. At this time, I have no definite options or ideas. I am still open.

Daughter had two surgeries with Dr. Petsche. She would only have him do the surgeries. She is a college athlete so having a doctor she felt 100% confidence in was so important. His work is amazing! He answered all our questions-Very responsive off hours especially. Would recommend him 100%!!

Best ortho doctor in the Chicago area. Specializes in sports medicine (shoulders & knees). He's an athlete and makes a point to stay current on all the latest research and techniques. I drive 45 min one way just to see Dr. Petsche. Have known him for 30 years and I send everyone I know to Fox Valley Orthopedics.

Dr. Petsche new what he was doing and did not hesitate to repair my shoulder. He is considerate and professional. I would ask for him again if I needed orthopedic surgery in the future.
