With extensive experience in the field of sports medicine, Dr. Petsche offers the latest advancements in orthopedic treatments. Patients receive comprehensive diagnosis and treatment options, with risks and benefits discussed. Patients also receive extensive education so they can make informed decisions based on their own health and expectations.
Dr. Petsche works with a team that includes medical assistants, nurses, physician assistants, and others to provide the best comprehensive care. Each team member works closely with physical and occupational therapists to help patients regain pain-free range of motion, strength, and function after injury or surgery.
An athlete himself, Dr. Petsche prides himself as someone who athletes and sports enthusiasts can relate to. From participation in such youth sports as baseball, football, basketball, soccer, gymnastics and golf, Dr. Petsche went on to compete in All-State and All-American springboard diving in high school. At the University of Michigan, Dr. Petsche was an accomplished Division 1 athlete, and member of the swim and diving team that went on to win four consecutive Big Ten championships during his tenure. Today, Dr. Petsche enjoys golf, mountain bike riding, disc golf, swimming, lifting weights, water and snow skiing, wake surfing, badminton, pickleball, and hiking.

Dr Petsche is great! He explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He takes the time to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered and he did a great job on my knee. Would highly recommend Dr Petsche and Fox Valley Orthopedic. Great experience!
Attention to detail(s) was evident and reassuring during the preoperative and postoperative phases of my OV. I slept and did not retrieve or retain anything from the surgical procedures, which was another positive outcome.

Unmatched in his field! From my first appointment, assessed my symptoms, requested an MRI to support the suspected issue, Spot On! Patrot tear on my left meniscus. Surgery was Perfect! There are only two super small incisions, horizontal to blend in with the skin texture. Not to mention Rae and Mary and the entire team the say of the surgery was unmatched. Great Team!
