Dr. Timothy Evans, M.D., FAAOS is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned a Master of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, graduating at the top of his class. His interests include orthopaedic oncology, complex joint reconstruction, computer navigation, complex hip and knee reconstruction, innovative ways of treating metastatic disease of the bones, and trauma.

Dr. Timothy Evans, M.D., FAAOS is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended the University of Central Florida where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then ventured up to our nation’s capital where he earned a Master of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, graduating at the top of his class.
He went on to attend medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. While at Creighton he participated in multiple extra-curricular activities including a medical mission to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, peer tutoring, and co-directing the Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum. He also participated in research focused on complex knee reconstruction at Creighton as well as the summer research program at the famed American Sports Medicine Institute. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for his scholastic achievements throughout medical school.
Dr. Evans completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. At this busy, level 1 trauma hospital, he gained valuable experience in the techniques used for shoulder, hip and knee joint reconstruction, orthopaedic trauma and orthopaedic oncology. He developed an interest in orthopaedic oncology and presented award winning research at the regional and national level. He served as administrative chief resident during his final year in the program.
His interests in orthopaedic oncology, complex joint reconstruction and trauma led him to pursue further training in orthopaedic oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. While at Moffitt, he trained with some of the nation’s leaders in the field, especially with respect to computer navigation, complex hip and knee reconstruction and innovative ways of treating metastatic disease of the bones.
