I only saw him initially.. Had MILD procedure with Dr. Netherton and then follow ups with PA. The procedure did not provide relief. Have not had any follow up to see how I am doing, but I keep getting surveys.

Great surgery team I assume was led by Bryan repaired my vertebrae by releasing a pinched nerve. The cost of procedure was astronomical therefore paying forward to Bryan should be increased reducing liability to Insurance companies and investors of Said Companies. Homer R Holman

I called during the week and had a telephone interview with the PA. I had an appointment and immediately I was able to get an MRI and also an option to have an injection at the same time. I could not believe the speed of how things are taken care of with me, I’m so encouraged to go forward with the options that I have for healing my back .

Start the Bryant is a physician that cares about his patients. He takes time and Check everything.

Dr. Bryan and his team could not get an injection scheduled because they did not properly document my symptoms. After many calls and inquiries I finally gave up.

I received an epidural on October 16, and I am slowly seeing results. I am so grateful that there is help for my issue, and that I can lead a normal life with pain management. The staff is awesome! I was very well cared for and will whole heartedly recommend this practice!

I’ve had 4 appointments at SE Spine and have never met the dude. 2 or 3 different PAs and that’s about it.

Have some respect for the doctor. Do you not think that Dr. Bryan does not have the very best outcome for every single one of his patients? How disrespectful, boooo, boooo

The clinic was unorganized, never responded to emails, calls or text messages. Told me I’d have to get my own records due to their employees being out on vacation. Would wait weeks for an appointment only to arrive and have everyone unprepared and unfamiliar with my file or me. The doctor was always in a rush, had no sympathy and was rude. I would not recommend this place for those seeking a solution to their pain or problem.

Very good at getting to the problem. Sorry injections and burning nerves did not work. Now my alternatives are exhausted. Still need a cane or cart to walk.

Dr. Bryan found my problem fast, suggested my compression fracture heal on it’s own with wearing a brace and appropriately three months of healing time.

I was there for an hour and a half and he spent less than 2 minutes with me.

Determined the issue followed by a surgery that has gone well.

He told me I needed to have two MRI’s to check if I had a spinal fluid bleed which my state insurance didn’t pay for. Then no one followed up with me about the second MRI. When I met with him he said my hips didn’t look so bad even though I was in the worst pain. Then he sent in his PA and she recommended physical therapy. Unreal. I work out 5 days a week and I’m in good shape. Wish he and the PA paid a little more attention to my back. Seemed like he has just itching to do surgery.

Although Dr. Bryan may be an excellent Surgeon, he has absolutely 0 bedside manner.

Dr. Bryan is an excellent doctor who went above and beyond the call for me. He couldn’t find a cause for my leg weakness so when my lower back MRI came back unremarkable he made a referral to a neurologist at MUSC, because of his concern for me I was diagnosed in May with Parkinson’s disease and now in the Movement Clinic at VA Charlestons.

Really needed some help but felt sloughed off. Rating just okay b/c I had a follow up appt scheduled w Dr. Bryan, was roomed then waited an hour then anothet provider came in and said she’d see me. I was told to get anothet Mri as thr one they’d ordered previously did not show enough area. My insurance had already covered one Mri. Check out charged me $100 co-pay even when I told them my co pay was $40. I felt sloughed out by this practice and have not returned or seen another dr for my pain

Dr was not in, I drove from Florence to see Dr. I was not notified to reschedule. I saw PA, but was unable to get back injection without Dr. Have to make another trip.

Was in exam room for less than 10 min. Seemed rushed.

He came in, didn't look at me and said I needed an MRI, and then left. When I got an MRI, no one ever called me about the results.

Dr. Bryan was thorough, however I did feel that because I am young, he was not as concerned about my pain as he would be if I was older. He did order a procedure for my pain, I just felt like he factored my age in when it should not have been.

He seemed very busy. I am hoping my follow up visit he will have more time to talk to me.

Still on the road to recovery but so good so far.

Surgery by Dr Bryan relieved difficult to diagnose problem.

Great doctor, well explained and to the point

Love Dr Bryan! He showed me exactly what was going on and causing the pain in my lower lumbar region of my 70 year old spine using my x-rays as a visual. We discussed what my different options were, I had already tried several of these with other doctors in my area. I decided to go ahead and let Dr Bryan do a spinal fusion on my L 3,4 & 5. I am a month out of surgery now and my back feels so much better, I can stand up straight and take several walks throughout the day with my brace on for support. It's a long healing process, but I am already in such a better place than I was. SESI at Mt. Pleasant was a 3 hour drive for me, but I am so grateful that I made the appointment to go in for that first consultation with Dr Bryan. He has such a wonderful friendly staff, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart!

I am glad that I went to SSI. I at least I know what my problem is. I still have the problem and I am aware that it is something that I have to live with. I go to yoga but it doesn't really help. I just need to go slow so I can live with my problem. Thank you.

I don't know if I have ever been to a doctor's office that was run more efficiently. Every single person I met today was so kind and genuinely seemed to care. Dr. Bryan listened to me and clearly explained the steps he would like to take.

Dr. Bryan is a top notch spinal surgeon in Charleston. When I first saw him in 2020, he informed me of several issues with my lumbar I didn't even know I had. Now, 3 yrs later, I'm putting my faith & confidence in him to get my lumbar fixed.

Had my 1st appointment 2/8. He ordered me a muscle relaxer and got it and I slept wonderfully, I haven’t been able to that in weeks. I know it’s just the beginning with this doctor but he also listened to me.

I was struggling with lower back pain and loss of feeling in my legs. Dr. Bryan has given me the opportunity to play with my children and be the dad I used to be again.

Very frustrating experience - waiting for my first MRI for 1.5 hours when I had an appointment. My next appointment was supposed to be for another MRI, when I got there, they told me it was not scheduled. Had to wait to see the doctor, was then sent back down for the MRI. When I was sitting there waiting, people who walked in AFTER me went AHEAD of me. This place feels like a factory.

I feel that Dr Bryan was knowledgeable but did not meet my expectations of all I thought the Spine Institute would be considering all the infomercials and research I’d conducted on the facility and doctors.

Dr Bryan found the source of my husbands back/hip pain after two other doctors couldn’t. He then referred us for the correct hip surgery. My husband is no longer in pain . It was a long and painful six months until we found Dr Bryan . I also appreciate that he has continued to follow up with my husbands progress. Just outstanding!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I might as well have been invisible. This guy can’t look you in the eye and he falls way short of providing treatment or even doing what he should to get tests approved through insurance. BCBS if SC told me he had not supplied any of the required information for my CT scan and that is why it was denied twice.

The original plan was to stabilize and add a spacer. Regaining conscious Dr Bryan told me he did not add spacer. I have been pain free since then and believe not adding the spacer was part of my remarkable recovery. Thank you Dr Bryan!

I never saw this doctor. I also had an appointment with Dr. Frisch and was told when I got to the appointment that my appointment was bumped. I never received a phone call, email, and it was never in my patient portal. I feel like I wasted my time and money as I paid for a hotel room since I live 2 hours and 30 minutes away. I also had an appointment time of 9:10 and it took a while to be seen. Was very disappointed!

Most unprofessional experience ever. The doctor did not look at me nor discuss a plan for healing. Started discussing what needed to be done with my back and I wasn’t even there for my back. Pain down the size of my legs which I had told his PA. Left me sitting in the room forever and ever before I open the door and said is anyone gonna come give me the shots for my hip for Bursitis he told me in five minutes and 30 minutes they tell me they don’t have the medicine I tell them that’s OK I have another doctors appointment for something else which I went to and they gave me the shots in a blink of an eye. Don’t ever intend to go back there nor send anyone there. It’s a shame because the place used to be great.

Nice doctor that I have used before. I was told my prescription would be sent to pharmacy, never was sent. Called SSI from pharmacy couldn’t get doctor or assistant LM, no return call back no meds. Called 3 different times for MRI scheduling never got a person left messages to set up MRI, no call backs. You go in hurting, leave hurting, try to follow up on doctors next steps and prescriptions never sent to pharmacy,can’t get a call back for MRI, and when you call in you can’t get anyone.

Dr Bryan was great and took the time to answer all my questions. Most staff were masked and I had my temp checked and mask confirmed before i entered. However, one staff member working at the deck had a mask covering her mouth but not her nose.

He had the worst bed-side manner I have ever seen. He offered no options, which others have told me I most likely have, and he showed no compassion. I will most certainly get a second opinion.

Very professional Should have offered me a pain killer before I went into the MRI. Half way through I thought I was going to pass out from the pain being in a prone position.

I had plans of writing Dr. Bryan personally to express my gratitude. I was traveling 3 hours from Charlotte , NC. To Mt. Pleasant, SC . I was once asked, "Dont they provide the same procedures in Charlotte"? Well every since I sought a second opinion with Dr. Bryan, my experience has been nothing less than extraordinary. Both he and his entire staff, to Include Kim, Sandy, Tiffany, Margaret, have been exceptional! Official letter of appreciation to be sent later!
