I cannot say enough about Dr. Amann. I truly cannot. He just performed TKR two weeks ago. I was very nervous, and his friendly, calm demeanor helped me overcome that fear. And now I look forward to getting back to my active lifestyle . He is awesome!

He recommend that I have a cortisone shot without checking my past medical history, which includes diabetes. Cortisone can raise your blood sugar, and he did not know whether my diabetes is under control or not. I told him that I had a pain in my upper back and without even examining me told me it was arthritis that everyone has and ignored it. When I told him about a pain in the back of my thigh that I’ve had for quite a while instead of making any suggestions he told me that I’m just stuck with it. And because he did not ask me anything about my past medical history he did not know that I have fibromyalgia, which should be considered when making a diagnosis or recommending treatment.
