Dr revels is a kind and understanding doctor. He is humble and doesn’t promise outcomes he can’t achieve. He’s empathetic and honest while never putting pressure on me to seek one treatment over another. He gives me all options and encourages me to take time to decide.

Honestly, I was not pleased. I’m a pretty healthy and strong 42 year old woman. I own a gym and am a very strong proponent of resistance training for longevity and sport. I was disheartened to hear “deadlifting and squatting needs to be taken out of your programming” Am I never to pick up something heavy from the floor again in my life? What about lift anything heavy using my legs? As we age bone density becomes an issue and the way to combat that is to do such things. Was given very few alternative solutions to some lower back pain than “stop lifting” and with a small amount of pushback got the comment “you can do what you want, your body your choice”. Dr Revels was not rude in any way, and I do believe that he was not coming from a mean place, but it was disheartening that this is the only solution I was given.
