did not see the doctor only the np who was very nice so any rating would be a guess. I am sure the doctor was very busy but would have been nice if he had looked in the room. I drove over 100 miles to learn the joint looked good. Staff were great but the portal waste a lot of time when you answer the same set of questions more than one time

Dr. Thomaston completed a total knee replacement for me on my right knee on 3/15/24, in 3 weeks I was walking well and healing miraculously well I was being total by ppl who had surgeries with other Dr.'s it took them much longer to heal. He is a great Dr.

Having a Nerve Conduction Study is never an enjoyable experience. However, having a doctor with a great personality makes it bearable and that is what Dr. Thomasson does. It was great to learn he had done his residency under the surgeon, who had performed my previous Lamenectomey. I know that he was trained correctly. Great guy!

When you work out of town and you take a little time off I always try to maximize my time and typically try to schedule multiple appts for that day. Medical staff is great.

Good advice for managing my pain

DR Thomasson doctor gave me sound advice. He took the time to ensure I understood my health issues.

The nurse was so rushed she didn't bother to see that I knew where to go once she was gone so I literally had to wait for her to return to the area and ask her where I was to go at that point.

Especially the lady at the appointment desk that encouraged me to stay after they announced Dr Thomason would be a hour late due to emergency. I stayed and was called back about the time my appointment was anyway. I live 50 miles away and didn’t want to reschedule. I love the way TOC gets their patients in and out quickly as possible, everything runs so smoothly and everyone is so nice.

Knowledgeable, thorough, answers questions completely and makes sure I understand what he's explaining. Several years ago he did a hip replacement for me. He treated me with no heavy narcotics and I had ZERO pain! I Strongly recommend him.

The appointment was to get shots in the knee and she didn’t see the Dr. which was fine however she waited nearly two hours to get called back. These shots have been regular for a long time and our longest wait has been 30 minutes. I ask the desk 5 times about checking on the time. She finally got up and ask the back about it and we got back within 15 minutes. There needs to be better communication between patients and late appointments. If we had not had an 8 hour drive in front of us we would not be so angry. Leaving a 9:30 shot appt at 12:30 is ridiculous.

Rating is for Kevin, and the Admin and Nursing Staff. I am assuming Kevin is the PA. I did not see Dr. Thomason on this visit, but had an excellent experience.

Bad communicator and does not discuss issues in depth of what is to be performed. He contributed to fractured acromion bone as result of taking out to much rotator cuff tendons and then over 4 months did noting to repair until it was too late to do so. I have to live with it now!!

Dr Thomason gets directly to the point of your visit and does not force surgery unless absolutely necessary! He is a pleasure to have as my orthopedic surgeon!

I was disappointed with the wait time both for the doctor and the injections.

I felt that his bedside manner was lacking a bit. I feel as though he rushed through my exam and was not as thorough as he should have been. Most likely will not return for follow up.
