Dr. Tamura fit our son in very last minute with a very inflamed tonsil when his primary in Brookings wanted him to have someone else look at them. He fit us in his busy schedule the next morning. He was super kind, knowledgeable and we were blown away with how fast they fit us in. We then followed up a month later for a hearing test and follow up on fluid in our son’s ears and we were very impressed with his kindness and knowledge again. He will be doing our son’s tubes and adenoids at the end of the year and it is so nice that he can do surgery in Brookings. We would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Tamura is great. However the process of appointments is not very good. When they closed for weather they did not contact their patients for the day letting them know they closed. Then they never called to reschedule the appointments they canceled. Also the automated system is very hard to understand.

Wish I had done this procedure years ago. Dr. Tamura took the time to talk me through the process with less pain than I expected. I'm recommending all my friends from Sioux City travel to Midwest ENT for surgical treatment.

I saw Dr. Tamura for a second opinion on some ENT issues. He listened to my concerns and together we came up with a game plan. I felt a lot more comfortable with him than the previous ENT physician I had seen (different clinic). I felt he helped me decide on the best course of action for my issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Tamura.

Poor communication. I waited nearly a month to get in and I felt like I got 5 minutes of the doctors time. I left the appointment still feeling very unclear about the issue at hand and treatment plan going forward. Poor bedside manner and poor communication.
