Dr. Thomas J. Sweeney, M.D. is a native of Columbus. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Chemistry. In 1992 he graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine with his M.D. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Sweeney completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Stanford University in 1998. Dr. Sweeney is Board Certified in Medical Oncology.

I have been with Dr Seeeney since 2012 and 2 diagnosis of breast cancer. He is an amazing specialist. I have always felt like he is has my best interest at heart. He is a caring and compassionate physician with so much knowledge. He is able to deliver that knowledge in a honest yet sensitive way. E has been a positive model in my journey.
