Very informative discussion regarding YAG procedure

Dr Shute has done a what I consider a pretty complicated operation on one of my eyes. It went perfectly and he has been diligent with follow-ups to make sure it is healing and there are no issues. I feel I'm in good hands.

I was there for an appointment for 9 am but I was actually seen by the doctor at ll am. The doctor is wonderful. It is process and over booking is horrible. The wait time is unrealistic.

Dr Shute gets a 10 rating but eyeq gets a 1.5. reason? there is almost always a 1 hour wait time.

Loved Dr. Shute but had to wait over 2 hours for my appointment. Others in the waiting room had been there over 3 hours, elderly people from Bakersfield and other places. I would have appreciated a call pushing my time back. Staff knew he was hours behind. Why not push patients back?? Think about it EyeQ!!

Dr. Shute was great, friendly, knowledgeable and informative. It was disappointing that I was not told by the scheduler that I was not supposed to wear my contacts for 7 days prior to my appt. therefore my cataract surgery is delayed two weeks because Dr. Shute needs to take eye measurements. Hopefully, this will be corrected soon for future patients.
