Dr. Thomas H. Sanford is a board-certified urologist dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered care to the Globe, Arizona community. A native of Hawaii, Dr. Sanford earned his medical degree from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa’s John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health.
As a member of EVU Center, Dr. Sanford specializes in minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), as well as the management of urinary stone disease and general urological conditions. His clinical approach emphasizes reducing recovery times and improving outcomes—aligning with the needs of Globe’s working-class population.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sanford is actively involved in research focused on image-guided procedures and the integration of artificial intelligence in medicine. His work aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment precision, contributing to the advancement of urological care.
