There are no words to describe how I feel about Dr. Offerle and his entire staff. I have suffered allergies most of my life but most recently, I had a severe outbreak of hives. I mean ‘severe.’ After seeking many allergists with one after another telling me to take this, take that. Or ‘you have a shell fish allergy,’ this Doctor went right to the treatment. He always answered my calls of desperation and when he couldn’t solve it, he’d reach out to others to seek advice rather than use me as a guinea pig with all these meds. In the end, he cured my hives and I am forever grateful to this entire team and truly everything they did and continue to do for me! Go see them. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Offerle truly helped me with my chronic hives. He quickly setup a treatment strategy that provided relief.

He is so friendly and attentive. He literally sat on the floor to be at my toddler’s level! He sent research and recipes when I asked for help with the egg ladder.

Dr. Offerle is incredibly kind and has great bedside manner. With that being said, his junior experience is evident when prodded beyond his textbook instruction. His approach is focused on treating symptoms, rather than healing a system. While I do not fault him in doing as he has been taught to do, having seen other doctors with more experience and curiosity to get to the "why," it is a shame that this type of approach will result in fragmented care for a patient- with no hope for healing, rather chronic management.

Dr Offerle kindly squeezed me into his schedule when there was miscommunication regarding my appt with another provider. He is kind and knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. In fact, the entire practice is wonderful.

Dr. Offerle earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina, followed by residency training in pediatrics at Emory University and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at University of Virginia. He is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to manage chronic conditions effectively.
Dr. Offerle provides care for both adults and children, treating asthma, environmental allergies, food allergies, eczema, allergic dermatitis, hives / urticaria, eosinophilic esophagitis, basic primary immunodeficiency, and drug allergies.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Offerle and his wife welcomed their first child in June 2025. He also enjoys staying active and trying new hobbies. He is excited to explore all that Charlotte has to offer—from restaurants to local events.
