Dr. Thomas J. Tsai, M.D. completed his fellowship subspecialty training in vitreoretinal disorders at Harvard ‘s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. A native of Portage County, he returned to northeast Ohio to establish his private practice in 1984. In addition to practicing retina, he has been a clinical instructor and until recently was involved in medical education for Summa Hospital’s ophthalmology residency program.

I have been seeing Dr.Tsai for years I trust him with the care of my eyes he's very nice and caring. The staff there is also very nice and about their business I have never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes to be seen. Thank you Dr. Tsai for the health you have provided for my eyes .

My oldest Daughter is a Physcian (at a practice in Boardman) and she gave me the dickens when I convinced Dr. Tsai NOT to give me an eye injection a few appointments ago. And, when I reminded Dr. Tsai that my BP yesterday was 110/78 while a few appointments ago, it was150/1xx, he asked me if I ate a who bag of potato chips prior to then my previous appointment. We all had a good laugh yesterday!

Dr Tsai has been treating my elderly mother and I for many years. He is an outstanding Dr. He is extremly knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills and is very kind and attentive.
