Dr Sherman is very good however I felt that my follow up appointments were rushed.

Dr. Sherman seemed confident in his assessment, but in that (over)confidence he comes off as arrogant and rather cold. When I asked a clarifying question regarding his recommendation to ease back into sports, he seemed annoyed that I would ask for specifics on the activity level or time. His overall demeanor during the visit was not warm or appealing, but I hear he is the ankle/foot expert, so I suppose he manages to get away with his attitude. Unfortunate.

I have great confidence in Dr Sherman. It was a complicated surgery and I am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Sherman is caring, spends time with you and explains in laymen's terms just what he is seeing and thinking re: your injury. He has performed previous surgery on my other ankle and I have recommended him to others.

Not sure why I neded a second visit. There was no exam and he could have given me the results and options over the phone, by zoom or in an LGHealth message. During my first visit he seemed less than enthusd to see me. The second visit was better. Each time I had to ask him to check one of my feet that I had sprained. And he asked me whetehr I wanted and EMG. Then asked if I wanted an MRI or Ultrasound. I asked him what he suggested I do. I found that odd.

Very little engagement, zero empathy, annoyed by questions. Unwilling or unable to give clear insight or instruction. Minimized problem.

Took really great care of my injury & was nice to work with on the aftercare & followup care. He’s personable & makes recovery easier & more enjoyable.

My rating is not reflective of this Dr. I have seen Dr. Sherman in the past and was very satisfied. My rating is because I waited over 50 minutes and was still not seen. I get it that there are emergencies that come up, however, someone should have let me know that he was running late. I had another appt (I allotted plenty of time even if he would have been 1/2 hr late) and had to leave and was not seen. Common courtesy by your staff would have been to let me know he was so far behind. Maybe he could have sneaked me in between patients as the visits are not long. I've been coming to this practice since Dr. Matthews was there. This will not deter me from coming back but hopefully a little courtesy for others time will be considered.

Dr Sherman is great, he really takes time to listen and addresses concerns.. He thoroughly explains everything he is doing.

I imagine Dr Sherman knows what he is doing, but he came across to me as very disinterested in me as a patient. I had a hard time following what he was saying (he didn’t use lay person terminology) and I didn’t feel very comfortable asking questions. His treatment suggestions have helped but I found interacting with him to be difficult.

Incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Sherman performed surgery on both legs following an accident. Pain was minimal and recovery time was short for the extent of the injuries. A testament to the excellent work performed during surgery.

My appt was 1:30pm, I didn't see him until 2pm or after, I felt my visit was rushed & Achilles Tendinitis wasn't that bad, wasn't listening to what I was trying to explain/tell? I diagnosed myself explained about osteophytes/spurs & why I couldn't take steroids, Anti Inflammatories which should be on my chart? On my patient printout along Achilles Tendinitis diagnosis of Haglund's deformity-extra bone, I was told terrible recovery, understood no surgery is ever nice! I've been through 4 back surgeries with fusion, cage placement, & spinal cord stimulator. 2020 C5/6 Cervical fusion with cage placement in neck? I've been through a lot of surgeries and is up to me to decide about surgery/recovery if what is recommend is bandaid in the long term picture for patient, doctors should do what is in best interest medically/etchically necessary. I will not go back or recommend him after my experience!

I highly recommend Dr. Sherman. He successfully repaired a significant spiral fracture of my tibia and fibula. He explains things in detail and gave me the best option for being back on my feet.
