He completed his undergraduate and graduate training in Aerospace Engineering at the University of California San Diego. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine and complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Hong further honed his surgical expertise by completing a prestigious fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University in Stanford, California.
Dr. Hong's surgical expertise includes hip and knee replacements, partial knee replacements, robotic surgeries, and revision (re-do) hip and knee replacements. He strives to return each patient to the active lifestyle they deserve by applying the principles of engineering and human anatomy to maximize their quality of life.
