Dr. Thomas Chu, M.D., is an internationally recognized clinician, scientist, and surgeon. He attended Brown University in Rhode Island, where he majored in Biochemistry. He completed his medical training and Doctorate Degree in Biochemistry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
Thereafter, he completed residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard University, followed by a retina fellowship at the Doheny Eye Institute, USC Keck School of Medicine. He has held academic positions at USC and UC Davis. Dr. Chu has broad research interests, including the management of complicated retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis and retinal detachment.

We like Dr Chu. Parking made me very nervous. Had to get help as handicap was full. Could not find car but lucky attended found is searching. Paying too was a night mare
He is very professional and caring. A visit there is less hectic that some other eye doctor’s office. I always feel comfortable that I have had a good eye ck.
None more caring as he has always been bar none. It’ll kill my hopes of getting better whenever he retires. None can fill his shoes.

Dr. Chu is the very best! I have been going to him for years and he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever come in contact with. I highly recommend him for his incredible knowledge and ability to explain in lay person terms what exactly is going on.
